AAFCL members intend to attend the AIAA SciTech Forum and Exposition (AIAA SciTech 2020) to be held virtually, in January, 2020. Members of our lab are also proud to present our manuscripts - "Preliminary Analysis of Bio-Inspired Symmetric and Asymmetric Winglet Deformation" and "Investigation of the Unsteady Effects of Active Blowing using Phase-Locked PIV" respectively.

Undergraduate research conducted over the summer at AAFCL under the RCEU (Research and Creative Experience for Undergraduates) and LSMP (Louis Stokes Alliances for Minority Participation) program were exhibited in a campus wide poster session held on the 13th of September. The featured poster titles were - "Design and Development of an Actuation System for Morphing Wings", "Design and Preliminary Analysis of a Morphing Flap", "Selective Dielectric Barrier Discharge Actuation for Flow Control of Delta Wings" and "Preliminary Analysis & Design of Morphing Winglets for UAVs". Among this year's recognized participants, "Selective Dielectric Barrier Discharge Actuation for Flow Control of Delta Wings" was also awarded the College of Engineering's best poster award.

We were delighted to attend the AIAA Aviation and Aeronautics Forum and Exposition (AIAA AVIATION 2019) in Dallas, TX, which was held this summer in June, 2019 .
